The TAFCAR program provides in-home intensive education, counseling, and support services to prevent the abuse and neglect of children and case management for families to gain stability. Our staff works closely with the Department of Children and Families, Division of Child Protection and Permanency to support positive family relationships. Parents are taught how to communicate with their children, how to solve problems, and how to manage their children’s behaviors. By focusing on family strengths, TAFCAR helps families develop a stronger sense of family unity.

TAFCAR is a partnership program with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. TAFCAR accepts referrals from DCP&P, as well as schools, churches, family court, community-based programs and human service agencies.
