Take Action
You can be the one to provide help for someone in need.
There is an ongoing need for essential items to support children and families in your community. Energetic and dedicated community members like you are needed to lead collections of the high-need items listed below. Collections are great way for corporate groups, students, community groups or individuals to make an immediate and positive impact on the lives of children and families in need of help.
Take action to help meet a need in your community by coordinating a collection of brand new, high-need items.
Please note, Center For Family Services is able to accept new items only. We cannot accept used items of any kind. Gift cards are highly requested and allow caregivers to purchase exactly what is needed.
Another important way you can make an incredible impact is through a fundraiser of monetary gifts. You can use the power of your community connections to spread the word about the need for monetary donations to the Caring Community Fund or other program that resonates with you and your group.
Monetary donations make funds available to purchase exactly what is needed when a child enters one of our safe homes. Your fundraiser will give kids and teens the chance to pick out decor for their room, purchase comfort items like a cozy rug and stuffed animal, and participate in recreational and enrichment activities that provide the chance to have fun and broaden their horizons.
Here are a few ways you can coordinate a monetary collection:
- Set up a GoFundMe fundraiser & select Center For Family Services as the beneficiary.
- Share the link to our online Caring Community Fund giving page.
- Create a birthday fundraiser on social media to benefit Center For Family Services.
- Use social media to share your Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal with friends and family to support your fundraiser.
- Host a brunch, dinner party, or movie night and ask guests to make a donation of cash or high-needs items.
