Start a Collection

Start a Collection

It starts with one. It starts with you. You can be the one to provide help for someone in need.

There is an ongoing need for essential items to support children and families in your community. Energetic and dedicated community members like you are needed to lead collections of the high-need items listed below. Collections are great way for corporate groups, students, community groups or individuals to make and immediate and positive impact on the lives of children and families in need of help.

Take action to help meet a need in your community by coordinating a collection of brand new, high-need items. Please note, Center For Family Services is able to accept new items only. We cannot accept used items of any kind. Gift cards are highly requested and allow caregivers to purchase exactly what is needed.

Another important way you can make an incredible impact is through a collection of monetary gifts. You can use your power as an influencer to spread the word about the need for monetary donations to the Caring Community Fund. Monetary donations make funds available to purchase exactly what is needed when a child enters one of our homes. Right now there is an urgent need for monetary gift collections to cover the cost of special outings and enrichment activities. These important activities have been limited due to the 2-year disruption, as a result of the pandemic.  Your monetary gift collection will give kids the chance to have fun and broaden horizons through participation in enrichment and recreational activities.

Here are a few ways you can coordinate a monetary collection:

  • Set up a GoFundMe collection & select Center For Family Services as the beneficiary.
  • Share the link to our online Caring Community Fund giving page.
