Baby's Best Start

Baby's Best Start is a nine week program that works together with parents and family members to ensure babies get off to the best possible start. Program sessions are on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. After the completion of the program, staff will continue follow up with the family through regular home visits and phone calls on a monthly basis. Baby's Best Start provides:

  • breakfast
  • lunch
  • onsite child sitting (for children up to age 7)
  • tips for keeping children safe and healthy
  • information on how to connect with resources
  • information on stages of child development
  • giveaways

The program is open to parents with children age newborn to three. Expectant parents are also welcome.

Volunteer for Baby's Best Start

Baby's Best Start

We are in need of volunteers to assist the Baby's Best Start program with a variety of tasks while the sessions are taking place on Saturday mornings in Camden and Clementon. Tasks include:

  • Cooking Breakfast 
  • Leading themed activities 
  • Translating sessions and materials to Spanish 
  • Reading with one child or a group of children during childcare session as part of our Born to Read initiative
  • Cooking Lunch
