AmeriCorps VISTA is a highly professional and rigorous national service program, through which volunteers serve in capacity building roles.
Full-time, One-year VISTA Service
As a VISTA member, you can make a one year commitment to build capacity and infrastructure development to help bring individuals and communities out of poverty. Through activities such as fundraising, establishment of community volunteer recruitment and management systems, community outreach, and collaborative development, VISTA members mobilize local resources to achieve lasting solutions to poverty. VISTA members generally do not provide direct service, such as working directly with children or leading family activities. VISTAs focus efforts on building organizational, administrative, and financial capacity with the goal of achieving transformative and sustainable outcomes.
Serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Center For Family Services is not only a great way for you to positively impact an area of high need, but it is also an excellent professional development opportunity.
Apply today if you are interested in service as a VISTA Member.
IT Compliance Associate: As the IT Compliance Associate, you will help develop general IT policies and procedures in order to streamline IT processes. Activities include updating necessary IT policies for HIPPA compliance and creating guidelines to support the implementation of new IT procedures for our ticket tracking system.
