The PRIDE Center

The PRIDE Center provides an array of services for youth and young adults in the LGBTQIA+ community:

  • Kaleidoscope
  • The PRIDE Training Institute
  • NJ PRISM Hotline

Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is a community-based LGBTQIA+ program that offers monthly meetings and ongoing virtual platforms in a welcoming atmosphere where teens and young adults like you can find support, guidance, and a sense of community. Kaleidoscope provides a safe, supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ and allied teens and young adults to gather, socialize, organize, and help each other.

Group meetings are held in person and virtually each month for both teens and young adults at various locations throughout New Jersey including in Camden County, Essex County, Mercer County, Morris County, and Sussex County. The PRIDE Center Training Institute

The PRIDE Center Training Institute offers training and consultation to health care providers, social services providers, companies, and schools to support your team with training on best practices to affirm the LGBTQIA+ community. Training topics include: Basics of best practice service provision; Intimate partner violence; Creating safe and affirming spaces and services; Making meaningful community connections. Mentoring Services

The PRIDE Center provides trained mentors to engage in building a caring, nurturing relationships with youth to help develop confidence, build self-esteem, and enhance life skills through goal-oriented activities. Mentoring includes individual support sessions, group mentoring, and peer activities led by mentors. Mentors are matched with mentees based on common interests and work together to set and reach goals four hours per month for 6-12 months. Contact the PRIDE Center at 844.657.7476 (844. Counseling and Support Groups

Emergency Shelter & Safe Housing
