Family Support Services

Family Support Services provides short-term, family focused in-home therapeutic care to help families with children who are at-risk for or experiencing behavioral challenges.

Services are designed to improve family interactions related to the child's symptoms using the Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT®) evidence based mode. This approach is based on changing family interactions to reduce risk factors and to promote healthier family dynamics. The strength-based model targets and addresses family dynamics and interactions that contribute to the child's problem behaviors.

Clinicians work closely with families in the home to create a plan that builds on family strengths and addresses problematic aspects of family interactions with a goal to promote more positive interactions.
