The TAG program aims to provide support to grandparents and other relatives over age 60 and raising children. Services include counseling, advocacy, and case management services in an effort to provide support, tools, and resources to keep children safe, happy, and healthy. Counselors help grandparents and other relatives learn how to better communicate, resolve conflict, negotiate, and problem solve. The TAG program also helps clients to access services to meet financial, social, recreational, educational, and healthcare needs.
A TAG support group for grandparents and other relatives raising children meets twice a month. The group provides families with the opportunity to share their stories and learn from each other.
TAG services are designed to meet the unique needs of each family and are free of charge. Services are provided in the home.
