The Level Up program offers pre-employment transition services to students with disabilities between the ages of 14-21. Designed to give an early start, the program helps students explore career interests and develop vital work-related skills while still attending high school. Through the Level Up program, students participate in a comprehensive set of activities spanning five core areas:
- Job Exploration - Assists students in discovering career paths that match their strengths and interests.
- Coaching on Postsecondary Options - Guides students as they consider future opportunities, including college, vocational training, or specialized programs.
- Self-Advocacy - Helps students develop the skills to assert their needs, understand their rights, request accommodations, and make confident, informed decisions.
- Work-Based Learning Experiences - Provides students with real-world experiences to build practical skills.
Workplace Readiness Training - Helps students develop essential social skills and soft skills critical for employment.
