Camden DREAMS provides apartments in the Camden area for young adults who have aged out of the foster care system, or for young people without the support of family. With the guidance of counselors, young adults learn to set goals, make responsible choices, and develop a plan for a self-sufficient futures.  

Through the Camden DREAMS program, young people are provided with many opportunities. Securing an apartment creates a sense of pride and a feeling of accomplishment. Maintaining a job and earning an income builds a sense of security and encourages independence. In addition, Camden DREAMS provides individual and family counseling to help our residents who may be dealing with past or present issues. 

At Camden DREAMS, our goal is for each resident to:

  • Develop successful permanent housing
  • Renew their love for themselves and others
  • Experience healthy, productive independent living
  • Achieve the ability to visualize positive futures
  • Master household budgeting and responsible decision- making
  • Strengthen and improve communities

Referral Information

The program is open to young adults living in Camden City who have aged out of foster care or are without the support of family. Please note: there is currently a waiting list for placement in Camden DREAMS. Click the link below to complete the referral form to be added to the waiting list.
