The TAG program provides support to grandparents and other relatives over age 60 who are raising children. Counselors help grandparents and other relatives learn how to better communicate, resolve conflict, negotiate, and problem solve, with a focus on keeping children happy and healthy. The TAG program also helps clients access services to meet financial, social, recreational, educational, and healthcare needs.
A TAG support group for grandparents and other relatives raising children meets twice a month. The group provides families with the opportunity to share their stories and learn from each other.
TAG services are designed to meet the unique needs of each family and are free of charge. Services are provided in the home.
