Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT) is a community-based mobile crisis support team in Camden City, providing voluntary support to individuals ages 18 and older who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. 

Services include:

  • Face-to-face de-escalation
  • Safety and wellness assessments
  • Peer recovery support services 
  • Case management
  • Resource connection
  • Referrals to mental wellness programming
  • Short-term follow-up support 

CCRT does not replace 911 or emergency medical services. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. 

The CCRT is made up of social workers, behavioral health professionals, peer specialists, and community-based staff who work together to deliver trauma-informed crisis response, stabilization, and connection to ongoing support. 

Response times vary based on call volume, safety considerations, and urgency of need. 

  • CCRT does not replace 911
  • CCRT does not replace emergency medical services
  • CCRT does not respond to life-threatening emergencies
  • CCRT does not respond to active violence 

CCRT relies on community-based support, involving emergency services or law enforcement only when necessary for immediate safety.
