After School Youth Connect is an after-school & weekend educational and recreational program for youth aged 8-18 and their families in Camden City.  The program engages youth in activities to support positive development. 

The program provides support with:

  • Conflict resolution

  • Internet safety

  • Workforce development

  • Life skills

  • Social skills

  • Drug prevention

  • Nutrition

  • Expressing emotions through art

Designated days are set aside for youth to engage in service projects, allowing them to accumulate service hours. Youth who are in high school are provided with the chance to participate in job training. Trip and outing destinations include museums, bowling alleys, sporting events, amusement parks, and seasonal activities. Opportunities to participate in special events and attend trips out of state are also provided.

Open referral.  Referrals are accepted from families, school staff, and any community partner such as Family Court, Probation, local law enforcement, YSC, JJC.
