The next meeting of the South Jersey Anti-Trafficking Coalition will be held on March 11, 2019, at the Department of Children and Families in Voorhees. Our guest speaker for the month is Donna Gottardi, creator and owner of My Fair Trade Lady. She opened her shop to sell handmade gifts from around the world, which supports artisans and growers by offering them safer working conditions, a better standard of living, and scholarships for their children. Donna will share what she has learned about slave-free commerce and how consumers can join the fight against human trafficking by empowering the workers who supply our food, textiles, jewelry, clothing, and more.
