Education is the first and most important step to a better future for children. Our Head Start services support positive child outcomes. We strongly believe in the ability of each child to succeed and value your input as parents and guardians. Your continued involvement in your child’s early learning is vital to their success. As the Head Start/Early Head Start provider, we will continue to provide parenting education, parent leadership and family support services. Dear Burlington County Head Start and Early Head Start Families:
The Office of Head Start has named Center For Family Services as the new provider of Head Start and Early Head Start services in Burlington County.
Center For Family Services is honored to have this opportunity to partner with you and your family. Your child's success is our priority. Together we can help your child gain the skills that support long-term success in school and life.
Center For Family Services is a non-profit social service agency. We have a 100-year history serving children and families. Our broad range of services expand across New Jersey and include Head Start services in Head Start in Camden County. Last year we provided Head Start services to 700 Camden County children and families.
Both BCAP and Center For Family Services are committed to a smooth transition and continuity of services for your child and your family.
We invite you to participate in one of the upcoming virtual informational meetings via Zoom or by phone to learn more about the transition in services:
- Monday, August 24st at 10am
- Tuesday, August 25th at 6pm
Please check your email for the Zoom meeting link and phone number which will allow you to connect to the meeting via Zoom video or phone.
To support continuity of services, all electronic and paper records of children currently enrolled or waiting to be enrolled in Burlington County Head Start or Early Head Start will be transferred from BCAP to Center For Family Services.
BCAP and Center For Family Services are working together to ensure there is minimal disruption in services for you and your family. In order to ensure smooth continuation of service, BCAP will transfer your child’s file to Center For Family Services. If you do not want us to transfer this file, you need to contact us in writing or by phone by August 21st to notify us of your decision to opt out. If you do not contact us, we will assume you approve and transfer the data.
