📣 2025 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment: June 2 – June 9 
 

We are pleased to announce that CFS’ Annual Benefits Open Enrollment will take place from:
📅 Monday, June 2, 2025 – Monday, June 9, 2025.  Please make arrangements to make your elections during this time if you will be out of the office as this is the only opportunity during the year to make changes.

🔔 What You Need to Know:
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review, update, or change your benefit elections for the upcoming plan year:  July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.

This year’s enrollment is PASSIVE – meaning if you take no action, your current benefits will automatically carry over into the new plan year (starting July 1, 2025). However, we encourage everyone to review their options carefully to ensure their selections continue to meet their needs.

💡 Key Highlights for 2025–2026:
✅ No Cost Increases to Employees!

Despite rising plan costs, CFS is pleased to share for the fourth consecutive year, Center For Family Services has experienced increases in the cost of our benefits plans. However, in our ongoing commitment to support our staff, the organization has once again made the decision to absorb these additional costs. This means if you are keeping your current benefit elections, your payroll deductions for benefits will remain unchanged.

We recognize the importance of affordable, quality benefits, and we remain dedicated to minimizing the financial impact on our valued employees. 

New this year:
✅ NEW Carrier Partnership with Prudential!
We are thrilled to announce that Prudential will be our new carrier for Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment policies and Long Term Disability.  This service replaces SunLife.  While the carrier is changing, you can rest assured that the same great benefit plans you know and trust will continue to be offered.

•    Special Opportunity with Prudential Life: You can newly enroll or increase your coverage for Voluntary Life & AD&D (see page 2 of the Center for Family Services - 2025 Open Enrollment Highlights).
•    Child Life Insurance now available in $1,000 increments
•    HTA Services:  Complimentary Medicare Enrollment Services:  See Page 4 of the Center for Family Services - 2025-2026 Benefits Guide
•    ID Theft Services:  See Page 15 of Center for Family Services - 2025-2026 Benefits Guide

✅ No Plan Changes
•    We will continue with the same carriers:
o    Cigna for Medical and Prescription
o    Delta Dental of NJ for Dental
o    Vision Benefits of America (VBA) for Vision

💼 Voluntary Benefits:
•    Accident Insurance (Cigna)
•    Hospital Care (Cigna)
•    Voluntary Life Insurance – Self, Spouse, Children (Prudential)
•    Voluntary Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) (Prudential)

As part of your benefits review during Open Enrollment, it’s essential that you update your beneficiary(ies) for your Employer Paid Life Insurance.  

If you are enrolling in any Voluntary Life Insurance for yourself, your spouse, and/or your children, you must also complete this process for each policy. Please keep the following in mind:
•    Each policy must have a beneficiary listed.  Elections do not carry over from policy to policy.
•    You must be the beneficiary for any Child’s Life Insurance policy.

💰 Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
•    FSA Enrollment will be held separately in November.  Elections and changes are not available during this current Open Enrollment.
•    Effective date: January 1, 2026
•    FSA Plan Year: January 1 – June 30, 2026
