Volunteer Onboarding

If you have a volunteer who will be working with Center For Family Services on an ongoing basis, please follow the Volunteer On-boarding procedure listed below:

 1. Create a Volunteer Position Description - Complete the Volunteer Position Questionnaire and email the completed form to Del Densley. We will generate and send you a Volunteer Position Description based on your answers to these questions. We will also post and recruit for the position and notify you when we have received an applicant.

 2. Program staff who will be supervising the volunteer will conduct an interview with the volunteer.

  • Introduce the Volunteer Position Description(s) to the volunteer. After the interview, if modification to the Position Description is necessary, complete this in the time before a volunteer begins program specific orientation.

Both the orientation checklist and the Volunteer Handbook forms are linked in the box above.
