Camden, NJ – Center For Family Services, a nonprofit dedicated to improving lives in South Jersey, was recognized as a Top Workplace for 2020 by Philly.com. This marks the agency’s eleventh consecutive year with a Top Workplaces title. Top Workplaces winners were selected through an anonymous survey distributed to employees that measured different aspects of workplace culture at organizations throughout the Delaware Valley. Staff highlighted the organization’s commitment to cutting edge practices and family-focused workplace culture as reasons why their workplace is unique.
The Philadelphia Inquirer partnered with Exton, PA-based research platform Energage to administer the employee feedback survey and select the best employers in the area. “The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest.” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day – the employees.”
Center For Family Services is celebrating more than just the Top Workplace achievement in 2020. This year signifies the organization’s one hundred year history of service. Their work with children and families in need began through the Women’s Church Mission of Help in Camden City back in 1920. Since then, Center For Family Services has grown in services provided, geographic reach, and number of staff.
