Approximately 250 children and their families attended this year's Neighborhood Block Party - a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and build community momentum. Children had an opportunity to enjoy life-size board games, facepainting, inflatable basketball and a water slide while adults had an opportunity to learn more about the programs, resoures and services offered by Center For Family Services and under the Camden Promise Neighborhood program. Special thanks are extended to our team members and partners from Cooper University Health Care, CAMcare Health Corporaion, Promise Neighborhood Family Success Center, Sesame Street in Communities, Camden Enrollment and Democracy Prep Public Schools who joined us for the day and helped complete our day of recreation and resources. We hope everyone enjoyed the family fun, festivities and opportunities to connect with one another! The Neighborhood Block Party was the kick-off to a number of great family fun and activities held at Whitman Square Park during the month of August.
