Q: What is the best thing about being an Intern Supervisor?

A: The best thing about being an intern supervisor is serving as a guide, mentor, and advocate for emerging professionals as they step into the heart of this deeply human work. It’s a role rooted in trust, compassion, and intentionality.

Q: What does “Everyone Belongs” mean to you?

A: It’s a commitment to equity, empathy, and shared humanity. “everyone belongs" means to me that Center For Family Services community isn’t whole unless all of us are part of it. We embrace each other by fostering healthy connections and respect.

Q: How did you first get involved with Center For Family Services?

A: I started as a Bilingual Clinician in Camden for Juntos. I was then promoted to Lead Clinician for Camden and Bridgewater and then promoted to Lead Clinician for all shelters, overseeing the clinical department, supervising social work interns and clinicians. I am soon embarking in a new adventure as a program director for behavioral health outpatient. Center For Family Services gave me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of clients as well as working alongside with amazing people. the opportunity to grow in my profession and make me who I am today!

Q: What advice would you give an incoming Intern?

A: Encouraging them and reminding them that perfection is not needed, they are still learning, we all are each day!

Q: I If you could be a color what would it be and why?

A: I love tiffany blue color. I love the ocean and nature. It's calming, warm, it reminds me of a beautiful summer day!
