Tucked away in the an office above Rutgers-Camden's Campus Center, there's a room that's used for a little bit of everything.

Sometimes, it's a training room. At others, staff hold roundtable meetings there or eat lunch. Just outside the door, a hand-drawn schedule is taped to the wall, keeping everything straight.

But three times a week, the space opens as a food pantry for struggling students, offering cereal, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned goods, cup noodles, condiments and staples like flour, sugar, milk and eggs -- all free of charge.
