An old Camden Lab (Camden Labs) is set to be demolished due to the site becoming an illegal dumping ground. The project is spearheaded by Camden Collabative Innitative and has the backing of Mayor Francisco :Frank" Moran.
This abbdoned building will be turned into recreational space for the neigborhood to promote a sense of community and give residents a clean environment to enjoy, work and live in.
Once completed, this lot will be an expansion of Whitman Park and added facilties will include a basketball court, football and baseball field.
This will serve as one of the first stepping stones to revitalize Camden City neigborhood lots and abodonned areas.
