Center For Family Services will provide quality early learning program to children

Burlington, NJ – Center For Family Services, Inc., a non-profit human service organization with a 100-year history of success serving children and families across New Jersey, has been selected as the new provider of Head Start and Early Head Start services in Burlington County, New Jersey. Through a grant award from the Administration of Children and Families, Office of Head Start, Center For Family Services will become the new provider effective September 1, 2020.

Head Start is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to promote school readiness and enhance the social and cognitive development of children.

As the provider of Head Start services in Camden County since 2011, Center For Family Services provides comprehensive early learning and wrap-around services to approximately 700 Camden County children and families each year. With the addition of Burlington County, Center for Family Services will serve more than 1000 children and their families across Burlington and Camden Counties.

 Center For Family Services plans a seamless transition and continuity of services. Families will be notified this week and Center For Family Services will work with families, staff and community members to provide clear communications regarding next steps.
