American Water HQ officially opened in Camden, NJ on December 4th 2018. Susan Story president and chief excutive officer modern, envirnoment friendly building now located on the waterfront. They were joined by students, residents, organizations and City government officials.
American Water has been providing services in Camden for more than 125 years and is continuing to invest in local buisness and organizations.
At this grand opening a $200, 000 donation was pledged for STEM education for Camden students. American Water has also stimulated Camden's economy by staying in city to construct and modify their new headquaters.
Mayor Frank Moran of Camden city commended the company and said "their actions make it clear that this is a company comitted to to the future of our city."
The company will also be promoting job training programs and hiring initatives as part of their agreement with the city and it seems as though are happy to do so. So far, American Water has established themselves as a positive force in Camden and we hope it remains that way.
