On September 12th, 2018 Hopeworks officially opened their doors. It is drastic change from their old and more homey space. Their new space is an open floor plan wih modern furntiure, bright colors and sleek paintings. They even brought touches from their old building to the new office spaces so everyone could remeber where they started and where they are going.
Hopeworks is a non-profit oranization that serves Camden youth by training them in technology. They first provide training, once training is complete the students have an option of three internships in house that they have to interview for. If they get the internship they will study under professionals and will be helped to find jobs or make careers out of their time there. Not all of the jobs have to do with technology.
They also provide education opportunities and financial help to their students. This NPO has an on-site education coach that they meet with to discuss goals as well as provide services to improve test scores or assist in studying.
Hopeworks provides a great opportunity for all youth in Camden and have been working hard to service Camden's youth ever since they were established.
