Mosaic Early Learning: Supporting Families Through Seven Points of Service
Mosaic Early Learning is more than just a preschool program—it’s a comprehensive support system for young children and their families. A strong early learning program can help your child advance in all areas of child development and follow a path to kindergarten readiness and long-term success in school. Mosaic Early Learning uses an integrated approach that nurtures every aspect of a child’s development while empowering families through resources, education, and community connections.
Here’s how Mosaic Early Learning makes a difference through its seven points of service:
1. Education
Mosaic Early Learning classrooms provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive. Every child’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth is supported through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Teachers embrace each child’s individual interests, languages, cultural background, and learning style, ensuring that every student feels seen and supported. Parents are key partners in this journey, with regular conferences and meetings to celebrate progress and set new goals.
2. Special Education Services
Children with disabilities are welcome at Mosaic Early Learning and are given enrollment priority points.
3. Family Services
Each family is paired with a Family Advocate who works alongside them to identify strengths, set goals, and connect them with the resources they need. The family and the Family Advocate work together in a partnership to help the family progress toward achieving and attaining goals and services that support positive development of the child.
4. Family Engagement
Families are at the heart of Mosaic Early Learning. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to actively participate through individualized services, special events, training sessions, and volunteering.
5. Mental Health
Emotional well-being is essential for early learning success. Mosaic integrates mental wellness into daily classroom activities and provides additional support for families navigating behavioral or mental health challenges. This proactive approach ensures children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
6. Health
Mosaic Early Learning helps families access vital health services, ensuring every child is up-to-date on vaccinations and receives necessary physical, dental, hearing, and vision screenings. By addressing health needs early, the program sets the stage for lifelong well-being.
7. Nutrition
Every child receives nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snack each day. Families are invited to contribute to menu planning and are provided with resources to encourage healthy eating habits at home.
Through these seven points of services, Mosaic Early Learning creates a nurturing environment where children develop the skills and confidence they need for school and life beyond Mosaic Early Learning. While at the same time, families gain access to a network of support that empowers them to thrive.
