Approximately 50 children and their families participarted in the Slime Time workshop held recently at the Whitman Square Park. The workshop is part two of a four part series designed to to build unity in the community and bring families and community members together,  Each Thursday during the month of August, activites have been scheduled at the Whitman Square Park to establish a space where residents connect one another. In addition to the slime time workshop, community residents enjoyed an evening of fellowship and free popcorn while viewing the movie, "Black Panther". Upcoming events include "Painting with a Twist" which will be held on August 15th and a Back to School Bash on August 29th, inclusive of backpack giveaways for all school-aged children. All activities will be held at Whitman Square Park, located at Louis and Everett Streets in Camden.
