Camden, NJ—As part of the "10-Minute Walk Campaign," Camden was recently selected to receive technical and $40,000 in grant funding from the the National Recreation and Park Association [NRPA].
The award will be used to support city planning efforts that help increase access to high-quality parks within a 10-minute walk of Camden residents.
Camden was one of 12 cities chosen nationwide to work alongside the NRPA, the Trust for Public Land [TPL], and the Urban Land Institute [ULI] to develop an action plan for the continued transformation of the City's park system and receive ongoing technical assistance from national and local experts.
