On Friday November 3rd, 2018 Camden leaders, investors and city departments unvieled phase two for the Branches at Centerville. 

Mayor Frank Moran, Congressman Donald Norcross and Deborah Pearson-Polk were just a few of the speakers at the reception located in the first Branch Village building.

Representatives from Michaels Development also spoke about their dedication to the project, they will be working along side the Housing Authority of the City of Camden to develop and complete the $21 million project.

The money was raised through HUD from the Choice Neighborhood Grant, NJ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, Berkadia Commercial Mortgage and the largest sum coming from TD Bank.

Everyone is excited for the project and is will enjoy seeing the improvements to Public Housing that will directly benefit the residents. Cythia Muse, a resident from the latest completed building was happy that the project will commence and thanked all who made it possible. 

These housing units will offer residents safe places to live and improve housing conditions. Housing is typically the number one problem in most urban cities and Camden is doing all they can to ensure all residents enjoy higher qualities of life.
