On Thursday morning on January 24th, WCMD Radio officially opened it's doors to their new studio or should we say building! Their new building is located on Kaighn Avenue and is currently being remodled to accomodate their growing crew, children's programs and business partners.

As people piled into the studio to see the new space and congratualte all those a part of WCMD Radio, many took to Facebook live to share such a historic moment with the residents of Camden. This radio show gives a voice to all those who feel they are not being heard, the segments will focus on everyday issues, urban culture, social justice, and the most prominent problems of todays time.

The WCMD crew will be educating and getting involved in the community especially Camden's youth to assist in guiding them towards better futures. A couple of the programs they share the space with include Dare 2 Dance, LLC; which offers youth ages 3-18 an opportunity to express themselves through dance and Cylab, an organization that offers workshops or classes to youth on issues like financial literacy, public speaking, and entrepreneurship amongst other topics.

WCMD host Diamond Thomas led the grand opening by giving the history of the station and introducing all those who has or will play a part in the future. A couple of the segments include Truth Serum which will focus on alcoholism and drug addictions and Wake Up and Win with Jasmine.

The station will also have spots available for those looking to advertise! They are also very open to have guest spots for those that meet with them about an idea or segment for the show. If you are interested please contact them at 856-353-0771 or email at [email protected]
