A full continuum of safe housing for children, teens, young adults, moms and their children in need of a place to live, victims and survivors of domestic violence, and unaccompanied minors. LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

The safe housing continuum includes emergency shelters, group homes, residential care, shelter homes, transitional living programs, and supportive housing. Safe and Supportive Housing services are available in Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Mercer, and Gloucester Counties. 

Additionally, Center For Family Services offers crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and prevention services to young adults up to age 21 experiencing homelessness through Street Outreach and Emergency Shelter services in Camden and Gloucester Counties. Counselors work to help teens and young adults who are facing homelessness, have run away, or are couch-surfing to find a safe and stable place to live.

In the last year, Center For Family Services was home to more than 400 people, helping address the needs of:

  • children and teens experiencing homelessness and in need of a safe place to live;
  • moms and their babies in need of safe housing
  • women and their children escaping domestic violence
  • unaccompained children in need of family unification services
