Safe and Supportive Housing

Center For Family Services provides safe and supportive housing for children who are homeless, runaways, neglected or abused; moms and children who are homeless; and women and children escaping domestic violence. Services include temporary shelters, residential treatment facilities, transitional living programs, and permanent affordable housing for New Jersey children and families in need of a safe home environment.

Our continuum of care provides young people with a stable foundation and strengthens their ability for self-sufficiency. Through our programs we provide the tools and resources to help teens build a strong foundation for a positive future. CFS also offers permanent supportive housing for young adults with wrap around services that encompass the educational, employment, and legal issues that young adults experience. In addition, we provide foster home placement for children from birth to age 18. At CFS, we are dedicated to providing children with a stable living environment and the tools to become successful adults.

Our safe housing programs include shelter for homeless single mothers who are pregnant or have young children. CFS also operates the Domestic Violence Safe House in Gloucester and Cumberland Counties, providing emergency shelter and transitional housing for female victims of domestic violence and their children. In each of our safe and supportive housing programs, we strive to strengthen the foundation for healthy, independent, self-sufficient individuals.
