We are excited to introduce the new Born to Read Literacy Corner Read Aloud Series! The Read Aloud Series will release a recording of a new book each week on our Facebook page, featuring Camden Promise Neighborhood staff and special guests as weekly readers. Reading out loud is beneficial to developing children’s literacy and speech skills. The Read Aloud Series will help parents and children practice while also providing a fun family activity!
The Read Alouds launched last week with the book “A Sloth Named Bob,” read by Toya Walker, one of our Neighborhood Allies. This book is about a mysterious, underpants-wearing superhero who has been solving all of the jungle's problems! But who could it be? The superhero might be the last animal you'd expect!
