Family Support Center

The Family Support Center is an intensive, after-school program for Gloucester County families with teenagers age 13-17. With a focus on strengthening families and building strong family relationships. Counselors provide teens with a structured after-school program that includes:

  • individual, group, and family  counseling
  • life skills training
  • peer leadership training
  • case management, advocacy, and behavioral intervention
  • support groups for teens and parents
  • alcohol and drug prevention and education
  • weekly recreational activities

The goal of this four day/week, five month program is to prevent out-of-home placement and court involvement of teenage youth.  To participate in the program, youth and their families must reside in Gloucester County with teens ages 13-17 living in the home, and must be considered at risk for out-of-home placement or court involvement.
