Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced individual for the Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor/ Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor position within its Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative program. The Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative's top priority is the safety and well-being of children. By treating the alcohol/drug problems of the caregivers, we help provide a more secure environment for children. The LCADC/CADC conducts substance abuse evaluations in the DCPP office. They will also assist with case manages clients and work with clients to get the needed treatment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The LCADC/CADC coordinates early entry into treatment and case manages DCPP referred clients. This individual ensures all client information is reported to DYFS Caseworker, coordinates required services for the Counselor Aide(s), acts as a liaison with local treatment providers, and completes filing of all necessary reports. This individual is able to identify problems, collect data and draw conclusions as well as interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. The LCADC/CADC provides clients with transportation, communication, access to assessment appointments, and case management.

- High School Diploma
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor CADC/LCADC
- Previous experience in the substance use disorder field
- Current driver's license with a driving record of at least three years
- A vehicle with current insurance and registration
