The Recovery Network for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing Loss provides Communications Access Services for individuals seeking substance abuse treatment and support for the deaf community.
For over 20 years, our Recovery Network program has provided substance abuse treatment services throughout New Jersey by staff fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and culturally sensitive to the deaf community. This program recognizes the need to provide each individual with their preferred mode of communication access and works to determine what would benefit them the most.
Communication access and support services are available for detoxification (short and long term), Intensive Outpatient Treatment programs, and residential facilities.
Communication Access Services include:
- Registered Interpreters in ASL, Oral or Tactile Interpreting, or Signed English
- Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)
- Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART)
