Center for Family Services is seeking an experienced individual for the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor within its Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative program. The Child Protection Substance Abuse Initiative's top priority is the safety and well-being of children. By treating the alcohol/drug problems of the caregivers, we help provide a more secure environment for children. The CADC conducts assessments in the DCPP office, assists with case management, and coordinates treatment with DCPP staff. Two positions are available one is located in Camden and one is a floater which will work in various locations. Schedule is Monday -Friday 9am -4:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The CADC coordinates early entry into treatment and case manages DCPP referred clients. This individual ensures all client information is reported to DYFS Caseworker, coordinates required services for the Counselor Aide(s), acts as a liaison with local treatment providers, and completes filing of all necessary reports. This individual is able to identify problems, collect data and draw conclusions as well as interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. The CADC provides clients with transportation, communication, access to assessment appointments, and case management.

- High School Diploma
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC/LCADC)
- Previous experience in the substance use disorder field
- Excellent driving skills and current driver's license with a driving record of at least three years
- Vehicle with current insurance and registration
