CAMDEN, NJ - Center For Family Services is pleased to announce being named as the recipient of a $18,000 grant through W.W. Smith Charitable Trust.
The grant will create a unique assistance fund that will support Camden youth with basic necessities as they transition from foster and shelter care to permanent housing. Specifically, the funds will help cover the cost of essential items such as furniture and household items that are necessary when beginning an independent life.

Each year, Center For Family Services supports more than 300 youth who find themselves in need of a safe place to live. Through 14 unique homes across southern New Jersey, children, teens, and young adults who are without a safe place to call home, find comfort, safety, and security. In the coming year, funding from the W.W. Smith Charitable Trust will support up to 30 Camden youth as they transition to supportive housing and permanent housing.
