CAMDEN, NJ-The Camden School District this week opened the first of four parent centers citywide.

A joint effort between the school district and Center for Family Services, the Camden Parent Partnership at The Promise Neighborhood Family Success Center is designed to give Camden parents more resources to help their children succeed in school.

The center will offer education-focused programming to complement the Promise Neighborhood Family Success Center's existing range of wraparound family support services, school officials said.

"Through partnerships with trusted community resources like The Promise Neighborhood Family Success Center, parents no longer have to come to us at the central office—we can begin meeting parents where they are," said Superintendent Paymon Rouhanifard.
