Mothers trapped in poverty, domestic violence and addiction struggle to be good parents.  Too often, these families have no health insurance, are victims of trauma, lack educational opportunities, are on the verge of homelessness, and are faced with the consequences of their substance abuse problems.  With a lack of resources and support systems, these mothers and children suffer.

Lynn Kmiec knew that substance abuse affects the whole family, and she dedicated her life to making positive changes for women and children.  From volunteering to feed, clothe and collect donations for babies who were born addicted, to spearheading change in South Jersey, Lynn was dedicated to making a difference.  Lynn passed away in 2003, but her memory lives on.

To ensure her hard work and commitment will continue, Center for Family Services created Lynn’s House to make the Family First program a reality in Camden.
