Community EducationFOSTER CARE PROGRAM
______________________________________________________________

CFS oversees an emergency foster care program where families in the community provide short-term, 24-hour foster care for children.

The program, Emergency Treatment Homes, offers a safe and stable environment for children, while CFS and other agencies work together to reunify the natural family or provide an alternative permanent placement.

Through this program, we strive to strengthen vulnerable families, assist at-risk families and enhance interpersonal experiences while working toward a permanent solution for the children.

The Emergency Treatment Homes team offers case management, assessments, treatment, support and supervision so that foster children will have a continuum of services, along with trained foster parents.

The program works with children in Camden, Cumberland and Gloucester Counties.
