CAMDEN, N.J. - Some of the top brass at the Campbell Soup Company took a break from the office today for a little show-and-tell in their neighborhood.
About a dozen Head Start children at the Center For Family Services in Camden got a special treat today, and probably didn't realize how special.
The nice lady who read the book "Chicks and Salsa" to them was Denise Morrison, president and CEO of Campbell's, who was practicing what she preached during the company's "Make A Difference Week".
"Giving back to communities in the area of hunger and obesity and food nutrition is part of our DNA at Campbell's," she said afterward. "We want to nourish consumers, communities, and the environment."
These little consumers not only got a story about fresh ingredients making good food, but a hands on demonstration of how to create salsa.
