The City of Camden celebrated the start of October by presenting Malcolm Jenkins of the Philadelphia Eagles with the Key to the City. 

The ceremony kicked off by inviting Camden Creative Arts High school chior to the sing a song to mark the occassion. Their beautiful voices carried across the entire room while the rest of the room sat in awe admiring their melody. They ended with a standing ovation and the E-A-G-L-E-S chant to remind everyone who and why they were there for.

The mayor talked about Jenkins early acheivements and the love he shared for the city in the state where he grew up. 

Jenkens founded the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation where just this year he hosted a "Get Ready Fest" to help hundreds of families receive food boxes in addition to health and wellness products. 

He focuses on youth, leadership, food insecurities and the justice system among other issues. 

He received the honor and hanked his family and most importantly the community members in the room who assisted him and making it all possible.
