Mark
Frisby is
Executive Vice President of Philadelphia Media Holdings,
owner of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News, philly.com, related online products and several community newspapers.
Frisby, a Paulsboro native, began his career with
Gannett Newspapers in 1987 as a district sales manager with the
Courier-Post. Throughout the early 1990's, Frisby served as manager
of the circulation and home delivery departments and eventually
as production director.
In
1997, Frisby was transferred to the Asbury Park Press, Neptune ,
NJ and Home News Tribune, East Brunswick , NJ . - where he became
the general manager in March 2001. Frisby won Gannett's highest
honor, the coveted President's Ring six years in a row. He won the
company's Chairman's Ring in June of 2000 when he was named Gannett's
Executive of the Year, in his discipline.
Frisby's
longstanding commitment to the community is evident in his involvement
with the Camden Arts Festival and as a board member for the Camden
County Girl Scouts and the Greater Camden Partnership.
