Shuttleworth
Ken
Shuttleworth serves as Vice Chair of the Center's Board of Trustees.
He is the Director of the Camden County Division of Public Affairs,
and a veteran communication strategist, with more than 30 years
experience. Shuttleworth began his career as a staff writer at the
Philadelphia Inquirer and has worked as a reporter and columnist
for the Courier-Post and an on-air reporter and producer for KYW-AM.
In
1974, he served for two years as the communications director of
the Philadelphia '76 Inc. The Bicentennial Commission where he planned
and executed the marketing strategy that attracted more than one
million people to Philadelphia 's historical district as part of
a huge pre-bicentennial block party. The event, Olde City Sunday,
helped to gain public acceptance for the controversial celebration
planned by the City of Philadelphia .
A
resident of Haddon Heights , Shuttleworth is married with two children
and four grandchildren - all of whom live in Camden County .
